Parapharmacy in Africa

URIAGE, BIODERMA, La Roche-Posay

We distribute branded parapharmacy products in Africa, in strong demand from pharmacies, parapharmacies and resellers across the continent: dermatological care, hygiene, sun care, face and body care. We supply our customers in regular lots, with the paperwork needed to enter their market.

  • Pallets of parapharmacy cartons in a warehouse, ready to ship
  • BIODERMA micellar water bottles on a pallet
  • URIAGE deodorant in front of its shipping carton
  • BIODERMA carton label: product code, batch number and expiry date

URIAGE

BIODERMA

Dermatology and everyday care: micellar water, ranges for sensitive, oily or atopic skin.

La Roche-Posay

Dermatological care recommended by health professionals: hydration, blemish care, sun protection.

  • Delivery by the lot, from pallet to container, to the main hubs of West and East Africa and to the Comoros.
  • Expiry dates and batch numbers tracked, as pharmacy resale requires.
  • Commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents for customs clearance.

URIAGE, BIODERMA and La Roche-Posay are registered trademarks of their respective owners. They are named to identify the products we distribute; RK International LLC is not affiliated with the owners of these brands.

Comoros origin

Ylang-ylang, vanilla, cloves

Three crops account for most of the archipelago's exports. Cloves alone make up 71% of them (2022), the Comoros rank among the world's leading ylang-ylang producers, most of it grown on Anjouan, and the vanilla is cured the Bourbon way. We source them locally, in direct contact with the growers and the distiller, and export them with the full paperwork.

Essential oil · bottles or drums

KM.02

Vanilla

Vanilla planifolia

Beans cured the Bourbon way: scalding, sweating, sun-drying, then several months of conditioning. Graded by length and moisture content.

Whole beans · bulk or bundled

KM.03

Cloves

Syzygium aromaticum

Flower buds picked before they open, then sun-dried until they turn brown. The country's leading export.

Dried cloves · in sacks

Documents to suit the destination: certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and, for ylang-ylang, gas chromatography analysis on request.

Ylang-ylang essential oil: six grades

The flowers are distilled in fractions: the oil is collected in successive cuts as the distillation runs. The first fractions are the lightest and finest, the last are heavier and woodier. Each fraction yields a grade, to suit your use. We are in direct contact with the distiller.

Q.01

Extra superior

The very first fraction, the finest and most floral. Reserved for high perfumery. You choose the degree you want.

Q.02

Extra

A fine, very floral oil, for perfumery. You choose the degree you want.

Q.03

First

A rich, balanced oil, widely used in fine perfumery.

Q.04

Second

A rounder, woodier note, for perfumery, cosmetics and scented soaps.

Q.05

Third

The last fraction, the heaviest. Used in room fragrance, soap-making and cosmetics.

Q.06

Complete (totum)

Complete distillation, with no reassembly: the oil is the whole distillation, never recomposed from blended fractions. A natural, traceable profile that we can document lot by lot.

Well-paid pickers, full traceability

Ylang is picked by hand, flower after flower, and it is the pickers who make the quality of the oil. They are well paid: a fair income for demanding work, because a lasting supply chain starts with the people who harvest. Being in direct contact with the distiller, we guarantee full traceability of the ylang-ylang, from flower to bottle.
